The SYPP School is a school like no other. There are no lectures. There are no “teachers.” It’s a school where you know that your experiences are creating the curriculum. It’s a 12 week program for youth ages 13-18 where we’ll explore gender justice, build relationships, and learn how to take action for change. No experience is necessary, and ALL are welcome!!

MLK Hip Hop Show 2008!!!! The Good Life: What's YOUR Dream? Commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and the Civil Rights Movement at our Annual Hip Hop Show! We know the struggle isn't over. Racism and poverty persists and the war continues. Come to our show and share your vision for a better world. The lineup includes: Dakota Camacho from Youth Speaks!, El Dia, Language Arts and Skim! Skim is an underground phenomenon that you probably haven't heard of and won't be able to forget!

We have three volunteer opportunities open—historian, poster & brochure maven, and database entry. All positions are paid in LOVE and require a minimum of two hours a week. Come to SYPP next Monday to get more info on the positions and SYPP culture.
